We are 7 ½ miles long or 12 miles long from inlet to inlet.  Our North End as well as the South End is accessible by four wheel drive and is favored among fishermen of all ages.

Visit our NC aquarium,  our beautiful state park (Camping Allowed)  and our local piers.

Our area consists of some of the best restaurants around.  From fried seafood to a good steak, one is sure to find something to please the palate.

Our beaches and waterways are clean and enjoyed by many.
